Web and Social Media

Social media is a key part of branding. It's the quickest way to share a story, and a good way to spread the word about yearbooks and events. Our yearbook Instagram serves more than just an advertisement for our book; it's a source of information and photography.

Graphic Design Water Tower

It's not everyday the mayor visits the school or every year that students get to design something that could become a landmark in Bryant for decades to come.

This is an incredibly cool and relevant story I wanted to cover. I got quotes and wrote the story before hand, took pictures day-of, then put it together for a post the next day to stay current.

The graphic design classes have been busy with research, inspiration and sketches. For more, order your yearbook at jostens.com.

Photo of the Week

Photo of the Week is how we cover both students/current events at our school while highlighting our staffers' photography ability. Photos are, most ideally, taken in the past week, and note the photographer in the caption.

These posts are good for spreading the account, as students tends to repost pictures of themselves, their friends and their groups.

This week's photo was taken by TaTyana Trice Feb. 5, of junior Kassidy Thompson sketching with a pencil in her sketchbook. For more great photos, make sure to order your yearbook at jostens.com!

Concluding Thoughts

A good social media compliments a staff and their product, and is an essential marketing tool to reach the student body, staff, parents and competitors. It gives a chance for further story telling and sharing current news, along with highlighting the behind the scenes of yearbook.
